Supporting artisans, and craftsman that do this kind of work
continues to be one of the missions of YogaBound.com. My
daughter found these beautiful pieces last year. I didn't buy
them because I didn't know if anyone would pay the price. This
year I actually found this amazing artist, and could not resist
bringing you a few of these exquisite pieces. We appreciate your
support for the preservation of the arts.
Each piece is hand carved from teak, or other woods that are
non-endangered from government certified plantations. All are hand painted, taking weeks to produce just one. These
are truly a
one-of-a-kind collectors items. I have been traveling everywhere
in
Asia for more than 15 years. In this age of
globalization, and mass manufacturing, this work is becoming
more difficult to find. |
