March 2004 Newsletter
Yoga Bound Travel Adventures:
Back
home to Largo, Florida from Thailand
The plane ride from
Bangkok back to
Florida though long, was uneventful, which is exactly the way I like
it. My wonderful husband was at the airport to pick me up, and I was really happy to see him. Two months is a long time
away from those you love.
It wasn’t a day
before I was back to teaching my classes, and settling into the
routine of being home, when my mother-in-law, who was in a rehab
center recuperating from a really bad cold, got out of bed
unassisted, fell, and broke her good hip. The other one she had
broken 3 years previously.
Welcome Home! Back
to duties, obligations, responsibilities, and the like, not just for
yourself, but for all of those we love, that are part of our lives.
This is where YOGA helps to keep one sane. Well, as sane as any of
us can possibly be. So take a minute out of your busy day when you
are feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, anxious, whatever, or even
when you are not, and simply allow yourself to be for a few minutes.
It works wonders.
I think I
mentioned in my previous newsletter that while I was away my
technical people, and I were working diligently on a new look, and
feel for Yoga Bound. It went well, and now Yoga Bound has been
re-launched. If you are reading this, you are seeing it. That took a
lot of time, and energy, what doesn’t, but the results are worth it.
And like most things, it continues to be a work in progress. So
check in for regular updates.
Beach living is
our locale of choice, when we have the choice, whether home, or
traveling. So running out to sit, and enjoy a magnificent sunset,
which the west coast of Florida is famous for, keeps the spirits
high. If you’ve got it take advantage of it, even if it’s just an
occasional thing. If you don’t have it, find a place where you can
connect to nature, and draw whatever you need from all it has to
give.
